How does JBEX work?

Post an order or bid on one. When a seller accepts your bid, each side sends money straight from their own bank or payment app, in the order the seller set. JBEX brings orders together and keeps the record; it never holds the money.

Does JBEX hold my money?

No. You send money directly to the other trader's account and they send directly to yours. JBEX never holds, transfers or guarantees funds.

What does it cost?

JBEX charges no transaction fee. Your bank or payment provider may charge separately.

Who pays first?

The order owner sets it when posting, and it is shown on the order before anyone bids. By bidding you accept it.

Can other bidders see my bid?

No. Each bid is seen only by the order’s owner, so every bidder offers their real best rate. Your bid is binding, and you can withdraw it until it is accepted.

What counts as proof of payment?

Only the recipient confirming the money arrived in their own account. A receipt or screenshot is recorded as a claim that the money was sent.

What if the money doesn't arrive?

The deal goes on hold and a case opens. Our team reviews the record and can restrict accounts, but JBEX cannot reverse a bank transfer.

Which currencies can I trade?

Toman, Canadian and Australian dollars, euros, pounds, UAE dirham and Turkish lira, and any of them for any other. Availability depends on where you live.

Who operates JBEX, and is it legal?

JBEX is built and operated by ePake Express Inc. It is a matching and record-keeping service, not a money transmitter: it never holds, moves or guarantees funds. The pilot runs under legal review for each corridor, and availability depends on where you live.

Why is there no fee?

Because JBEX never touches the money, there is nothing to take a cut from, and there is no buy/sell spread either: the rate is whatever you and the other trader agree on. Your bank may charge its usual transfer costs.

Question 11

What if the rate moves after I post?

Accepted Answer

Your posted range stays as it is until you change it. Before any bid arrives you can edit freely; a material change after bids creates a new version and notifies the bidders. You can also withdraw an order that has no accepted bids.
